FPAS is glad to have the 4th series of the FPAS Financial Literacy 2021 talk in collaboration with People’s Association.
In this talk, Mr Loh busted several myths about insurance, allowing participants to understand the need for proper financial planning and how to do so. By covering topics such as categories and coverage of different insurance plans, steps to maximise insurance dollars. and income allocation, participants were able to have a clear understanding of how to plan for their future along with their current plans.
We have also invited the Benjamin Ang, Head of Financial Literacy, from GoalsMapper to share their consumer platform for the audience on how to plan and understand their journey so that they can reach their financial goals.

Mr Christopher Loh began his career in the financial advisory industry as an insurance advisor. He joined the life insurance business in 2003. Subsequently he joined one of the leading financial institutions as a relationship manager. During his stint there, he has serviced and advised over 1000 professionals, managers, business owners and high net worth clients regarding their risk management and investment portfolio. He found that these individuals may not have the time, interest, or expertise to manage their wealth. He has helped client achieve this through Strategic Asset Allocation of their resources with the singular objective of expediting their retirement age. For his efforts, he received numerous awards along the journey.
Living in Singapore, one of the world’s most expensive countries and highest standards of living, many Singaporeans are finding it increasingly hard to ensure their income allows them to sustain a comfortable (let alone luxurious) way of life. His personal belief is that Retiring early is possible. Practical. And highly achievable!
His personal wealth management philosophy is that every individual has much to consider and plan for their financial future. And every client has a legacy to preserve and manage. It is important to help the clients to achieve the financial success that they desire and deserve.
