Financial Planning Association of Singapore (FPAS) will join the Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB) to host the fifth annual World Financial Planning Day (WFPD) on Wednesday, 6 October as part of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) World Investor Week to raise awareness of the value of financial planning. FPAS is part of the FPSB Network, which represents more than 192,000 CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionals across 27 countries and territories worldwide.

Roseline Fong, CFP®

Ms. Roseline has over two decades of experience in financial planning and wealth management. She began her journey in Prudential after graduating from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematical Statistics.
She is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Singapore (FPAS) since the year 2000 and went on to complete a Diploma in Life Insurance and Chartered Life Underwriter certification from the Singapore College of Insurance.
She currently specializes in Wealth Management in HSBC Private Bank and is also a Certified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) holding a Diploma in International Trust Management from The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
An avid learner, she is pursuing a Master of Science in Asset and Wealth Management from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Having a strong passion to raise the financial planning professional standards in the industry, she was invited to serve as a council member of FPAS in 2016. She went on to serve as Co-Chair of Standards Boards and was appointed Honorary Secretary in 2018. She is currently President of FPAS for the term 2021 - 2023.

As the Managing Director of Phillip Securities Pte Ltd (PSPL), Luke oversees PSPL's daily operational businesses, strategic directions and executes management decisions for performance-driven results in consultation with the board of directors. He honed his management leadership style having been responsible for various roles in the PhillipCapital Group of companies since 2004. His experience covers research solutions, overall strategy and business development.
He co-founded Poems Venture and is currently the appointed Chairman of Securities Association of Singapore (SAS), where he provided stewardship and guidance to fellow members.
Luke graduated from Imperial College London with a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic of Engineering and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University.

A seasoned banker, Mr Yim has been in the industry for over 20 years, of which 18 years were with HSBC.
In HSBC Singapore, Mr Yim has held leadership roles across the Wealth and Personal Banking business. Prior to his appointment as Head of Distribution in 2021, Mr Yim was Head of Wealth and International.
As Head of Distribution, Mr Yim is responsible for all staff-assisted sales and service channels, including Branch Network, International Wealth Hub, Contact Centre, Direct Sales, Wealth Specialists and Bancassurance. One of his key responsibilities is to drive synergy across all staff assisted channels, enabling the bank to improve sales productivity and customer experience gains.
He holds a Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Banking and Finance from Nanyang Technological University.

Upon graduation from NUS with a degree in Economics, Lisa joined UOB as a Management Trainee under its Branches Division. She joined Phillip Securities (a member part of PhillipCapital Group) in 1997 as a Credit Control Officer in the stockbroking business. When the company embarked on plans to expand beyond stockbroking, Lisa was tasked to grow its Financial Advisory business with the mission to make it a “multi-product, multi channel” organisation as clients' partner in finance.
Additionally, she also overseas Wealth Product distributions through omni-channels such as Phillip Investor Centre, Client Experience Unit and digital channels giving clients both choice and convenience.
Beyond her role as Executive Director since 2015, she has continued to oversee the day-to-day function of the company while expanding its reach to serve retail, high net worth and institutional clients.

Prior to MoneyOwl, Chuin Ting was Chief Investment and Asset Management Officer of the Singapore Labour Foundation and Senior Vice President at NTUC Enterprise Co-operative Limited.
She was an investment professional at Lion Global Investors Ltd, including during the 2007-8 Global Financial Crisis and has also served in the Ministry of Defence as Deputy Director of Defence Policy. Chuin Ting holds M.A. and B.A. (Hons) in Modern History degrees from Oxford University, a B.A. in Chinese Language and Culture from the Beijing Language and Culture University, as well as the Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations.
